1 Nature of material
In addition to considering the size of the material, the selection of the crusher should also consider the nature of the material.The functional characteristics of different materials are different, and their strength, hardness, fragility, corrosiveness to metals, moisture content, etc. are different, so the force application method for crushing is also different. The force application method of the selected crusher should be adapted to the nature of the material to have an excellent crushing effect. For example, for materials with large resistance and viscosity, the force application method of grinding and splitting is more suitable;For solid materials, it is more suitable to choose a crusher with force application method as the main kneading and impact cooperation;For brittle materials, it is more advantageous to choose bending and impact.
2 Functional characteristics of the crusher
The crushing process is generally divided into three links: coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing.
If the operation focuses on coarse crushing, the rotary crusher, large jaw crusher, hammer crusher and impact crusher can be selected. The specific selection is subdivided according to the ore hardness.
If it is used for medium crushing, cone crusher (medium and standard type), hammer crusher and impact crusher are usually selected. In small and medium-sized mines, fine jaw crusher and double-chamber rotary crusher can also be selected. If it is used for fine crushing operation, short-head cone crusher, roller crusher, vertical impact crusher, etc. can be selected, and double-chamber rotary crusher can be selected for small and medium-sized mines.
The maximum feeding granularity of rotary crusher, jaw crusher and cone crusher shall be less than 86% of the crusher inlet;
The maximum feeding particle size of the roller crusher shall not be greater than 120 (smooth roller) of the roller diameter;Toothed roller crusher not more than 1/6;Groove roller crusher not more than 1/10.The impact crusher and hammer crusher are free impact crusher, which has no too big restriction on the feed particle size.
If the user wants to determine the final specific product model, it is also based on its own production requirements, such as: crushed materials, material specifications, discharge specifications, material use, output requirements, etc.
